Project Description

This successful candidate will provide the development of data interactive visualizations by converting data into meaningful interactive and easy to understand dashboards and business intelligence reports.

What You’ll Do

• Play a key role in developing and maintaining business intelligence reports and dashboards;
• Adept at architecting, developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI Dashboards/Reports as per the business requirements including drill through, drill down to SSRS reports;
• Advanced Hands-on use of Power BI & Power BI Tools;
• Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop;
• Build Analysis Services reporting models;
• Connect to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence;
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications;
• Work with Power BI Client API and Power BI Rest API;
• Implement row-level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI;
• Create reports from JSON data stored in a database column (JSON_QUERY, JSON_QUERY functions);
• Use advanced level calculations on data sets;
• Use embedded analytics like Power BI Service/Embedded, or by API automation;
• Develop SSRS with Visual Studio and reports for SQL Server Reporting Services;

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing dashboards and reports;
• Minimum 5 years using Power BI;
• Adept in developing, publishing, scheduling and integration Power BI reports and dashboards;
• Solid understanding of security models in Power BI and the ability to implement row level restrictions;
• Knowledge of security, authentication and authorization, best practices and how to integrate it with AD or with custom identity providers;
• Experience with integration with 3rd party APIs, passing in and out parameters/data;
• Experience with embedding and sharing reports and dashboards, for cloud deployment scenario (AZURE) and for on premise deployment;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
• Knowledge of verbal and written English (Intermediate at least);
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work independently as well as a team member;
