Skills:

• Building automation from scratch for different projects with different applications under test (Desktop, Web)

Technical requirements:

• Languages: Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Technologies: Playwright (Cypress).
• Tools: k6, Postman.
• VCS: Git.
• DB: MySQL, PostgreSQL;
• CI: Jenkins, GitLab actions.
• Other: understanding of XML, JSON, HTML, CSS and SQL

Duties: 

• manual testing of web/mobile/desktop applications
• creating test documentation
• web automation + API 
• Conduct different levels of manual testing (Functional, System, Integration, Regression, etc.) and certify the software
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Analyze users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Convert story acceptance criteria (explicit and implicit) into test cases
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Communicate clearly with the team about the defects
• Provide support and documentation for test artefacts/test-cases
• Collaborate with other team members and departments
• Provide analytical metrics about the tests, test coverage plan and inputs for improvement
