We are working with the customer’s product, and the responsibilities of a Middle DevOps Engineer will comprise being a key player on the DevOps team servicing the product suite.

You will proactively work with Engineering, Product, Services, and other functional departments to implement and operate our global customer-facing SaaS infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced job, thrives on problem-solving, and is committed to delivering seamless product availability to large enterprises around the world.

YOU ARE

• Experienced in 24×7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider
• Having at least 3 years of experience with cloud infrastructure environments, preferably AWS
• Skilled in containerization technology, preferably Docker
• Proficient in Java applications and related J2EE technology stack
• Pretty knowledgeable about release automation (Jenkins, etc), system administration, system configuration, and system debugging experience
• Having expertise in using scripting languages (Ruby, Python, Golang, etc), configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, etc), and command execution frameworks
• Showing a strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes
• An owner of profound interpersonal and teaming skills and able to set and enforce processes and influence engineers who are not in direct reports
• Able to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment

• Automating deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response
• Monitoring site stability and performance and troubleshooting site issues
• Scaling infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand
• Managing cross-functional requirements, collaborating with Engineering, — Product, Services, and other departments
• Developers to bring new features and services into production
• Developing and improve operational practices and procedures
• Proactive meeting standards for information security and compliance, such as ISO, SOX, SSAE 16, etc.
