REQIUREMENTS

• Strong programming skills in Ruby (3+ years)
• Good experience in Ruby/Rails and all its components
• Strong SQL (PostgreSQL) knowledge
• Comfortable with the UNIX/Linux command line
• Experience with unit/system tests (RSpec, Capybara)

WILL BE A PLUS

• a GitHub profile with open-source contributions
• Experience with Ruby profiling
• Understanding of OOP, DRY, SOLID, Design Patterns, Refactoring Patterns, HTTP protocol
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Experience with Git

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Writing a production-ready secure, clean and performant code that is easily testable, easily understood by other developers, and accounts for edge cases and errors.
• Performing code reviews and maintaining high standards of code quality
• Using RoR to create a highly usable product
• Collaborating with team members to develop solutions within an agile environment
• Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Support and refactoring existing code
• Participating in code review
