Rio is on a high-growth path looking for a Full Stack (Node, React) Software Engineer to join the team. You will be part of the existing UK-Ukraine product engineering team, working with the UK-based Director of Product and SW Engineering. The role can be fully remote from any part of Ukraine or Europe, or a mix of remote and unlimited access to our office space in Unit City, Kyiv.

What to expect from this job?

• You will be involved in all aspects of software development ranging from database work right through to Front End development.

Core Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience as Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, React).
• AWS Cloud (Lambda, AppSync).
• TypeScript / JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS.
• SQL (SQL Server / MySQL).
• NoSQL, GraphQL.
• Agile / Scrum / Continuous Integration / TDD.
• Strong intermediate level of spoken and written English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Basic understanding of using Design Patterns to solve complex problems.
• Basic understanding of  Microservice Architectures.
• Serverless & Containers.
• DevOps / Continuous Delivery / Jenkins.

• 30 min call with a recruiter.
• 30 min interview with SW engineering manager.
• 60 min tech interview with SW engineering manager and tech lead/senior engineer from Rio.
