The client is an American product IT company that develops automation software for operators seeking to capitalize on the move to 5G and edge cloud.

The technology ingests and analyzes the most complex network data, accelerating the time-to-market of new services and products while enhancing customer experience.

The team of data scientists is international and consists of 14 data scientists: 4 in Poland, 3 in France, 5 in Lebanon, 2 in Canada. They have 3 heads of Data Science managing 3 teams. Now we want to invite 2 more data scientists in Europe.

The primary responsibilities:

• Drive the machine learning technical roadmap
• Build, implement, and maintain robust and scalable ML pipelines
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and into staging and production
• Establish best practices around MLOps including governance, compliance, and data security
• Improve continuously the ML models
• Create and maintain documentation.

The challenges:

• A huge number of videos and images are ready prepared and labeled to develop most insights out of it
• Building the intelligence that makes our solution stand out above anyone else’s in the market. This involves on one part selecting the problems where making a difference has an impact but also developing top-performing models for these solutions.
• AI and Computer vision for sports and games are relatively new and a lot of intelligent development would be needed.
• You will be asked for creative new ML algorithms development to solve advanced problems at hand.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in hands-on coding machine learning models
• Experience dealing with image data
• Strong experience with data management, data analysis, and data transformation tools and concepts
• Experience with MLOps and AI libraries such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Tensorflow, and Pytorch
• Experience processing large amount of data
• Proficiency of programming language such as Python, Scala, C++
• Experience or knowledge in CI/CD – DevOps
• Experience with data version control system for machine learning
• Experience with GCP and AWS Machine Learning services
• Experience with cloud and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP and AWS).
