To adhere to this purpose, Koyfin is looking for a Junior SEO/Link-building Specialist with a technical background to help implement SEO strategies.

In this role, you will be involved in SEO activities by working closely with the Senior SEO specialist and Marketing colleagues within our Marketing team.

Who You Are

• At least 6 months of experience in link building
• English level (upper-intermediate), good writing skills, good communication skills
• Understanding the basics of search engine algorithms
• Understanding of the link building principles (why link building is important)
• Understanding of the types of links, their attributes and anchor texts
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
• Experience working with Google spreadsheets / Excel (knowledge of formulas for data analysis, pivot tables)
• Analytical mindset, ability to analyze big amounts of data
• Readiness to do similar and routine tasks

Would be a plus

• Experience in outreach link building
• Working with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Similarweb, Netpeak Checker/Spider, ScreamingFrog, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Search Console
• Took part in SEO courses, SEO conferences

What you’ll be doing

• Perform different types of link building (outreach, guest posting, broken link building, etc.)
• Donor sites selection based on requirements from Senior SEO specialist. Working with current database and research for new donors
• Communicate with webmasters, editors, business owners for link-building prospects
• Backlinks placement checks & monitoring
• Completing other tasks from the Senior SEO
• Knowledge of Google search operators
