TA Ventures is looking for a Junior financial manager (full-time) based in Kyiv to join our team.

About TA Ventures:

TA Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm, backing companies in Europe and North America across a wide range of tech sectors.

We invest in Seed and Series A startups with a typical ticket ranging between $250k and $1M and the capacity to provide follow-on investments. Normally, we do not lead our rounds and co-invest alongside high-profile VC funds.

We have a generalist approach with a dynamically evolving multi-sector focus strategy – current priority on Digital Health, Mobility, Enterprise Software, FinTech, Consumer Tech. We are looking for software-based, scalable, capital-light models.

TA Ventures has been privileged to back companies such as SumUp, Azimo, Happify Health, Impress, Xometry Europe, Tortoise and 170+ others.

Primary Responsibilities:

 ●      Supporting our Partners and CFO in financial operations of the TA Ventures Fund;

●      Drafting financial reports in the course of transaction support projects;

●      Analyzing financial reports;

●      Managing accounts for administrative expenses;

●      Supporting the development of financial models;

●      Ad hoc reports and tasks;

●      ...and more

Requirements:

 ●      An outstanding academic track record. We will consider final year students or fresh graduates;

●      Some work/internship experience in finance, audit, consulting or other relevant fields;

●      Interest in the Venture Capital and Startups ecosystem;

●      Basic understanding of Corporate Finance;

●      Basic understanding of management accounting;

●      Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, high attendance to details, and good analytical skills;

●      Charismatic, open, positive and winning personality;

●      Analytical, facts-driven and pragmatic approach and ability to work independently;

●      Fluency in English.

  Advantageous (but not required):

 ●      Studying for an international professional qualification (ACCA, CFA, etc.)

●      1-2 years of experience within ‘Big4’

●      Experience in BI will be a plus.
