Responsibilities:
- Integrate art assets into a game
- Responsible for adjusting art created by other artists for the developers.
- Monitor and optimize game performance on mobile in collaboration with the Art and Engineering departments
- Optimizing graphics for technical use.
- Create/support custom shaders
- Help in the development of the game with VFX creation, shaders development, rendering and lighting
- Research, develop and improve content creation pipelines in collaboration with the respective departments
- Review and evaluate current and emerging technologies and technical developments for potential use in our games
- Rapid prototyping of new features
Requirements:
- Expertise in content creation and tool development in DCC tools.
- Proficiency in shader authoring
- Experience in writing shaders for mobile Unity projects
- Knowledge of the render pipeline and how best to achieve custom visuals
- Knowledge of performance profiling with a focus on rendering and shading
- Experience in creating 3D or character animation
- Passionate about video games
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and technical innovation within the constraints of a platform
Will be a plus:
- Experience with optimising mobile games
- Unity's universal render pipeline
- Knowledge of effects and post processing
- Comfortable writing C#
- Experience with Substance Designer and Substance Painter
- Experience with PhotoShop, Maya or 3DS Max etc. and a willingness to learn new tools.
- Experience using Git
- Highly skilled at communicating issues to varied audiences: managers, engineers, artist
