Daxx is looking for an SRE for the AgileLab team. In this role, you will help and challenge AgileLab to develop SRE best practices. You will define, create and manage reliable infrastructures for our business-critical applications. Automation, scalability, monitoring, and troubleshooting should be your priorities.

This position includes on-calls once a month on weekends and once a month for 5 nights. The on-call hours will be covered with x2 hourly rate.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes designs and implements complex infrastructures.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of previous experience as an SRE.
• Good knowledge of Cloudera cluster management.
• In-depth knowledge of the programming languages such as Bash, Python.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one cloud provider among Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Expert in cloud-native technologies, IaC, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• In-depth knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems internals, TCP/IP networking, a solid understanding of security practices.
• Ability to solve complex networking, data, and software issues.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Leadership capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.

• Experience with Java/Scala.
