Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of Symfony framework based applications for local and international customers
• Following Agile practices
• Reading code & Writing code
• Writing automated tests
• Performing Code Reviews
• Researching, studying and using innovative open-source technologies
• Designing software for scalability and high-load
• Code optimization & refactoring

Skills & Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience of active development with PHP
• Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts, Design Patterns and Principles
• In-depth knowledge of SQL (MySQL is a must, MS SQL considered a plus)
• Experience with Symfony (preferred) or with any other modern PHP framework
• Debugging, profiling and performance optimization experience
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is required, but we have a separate role of Front-end developer in every team
• Experience with React is considered a plus
• Good understanding of Linux, clustering, load-balancing
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is considered a plus
• In-depth experience with ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Apache Cassandra will be considered as a huge plus
• At least upper-intermediate level of English
• Understanding of Agile principles
• A degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is considered a plus
