We are a big eCommerce company with multiple entities. Our websites are in the TOP-5 for the majority of keywords in Canada and Australia. In addition, Bloomex has other high-level traffic projects in Canada. That’s why we are expanding the team.
These positions are remote in Canada, with an ability to work within EST/CST business hours.
Note, willingness to work in an English-speaking team is a must for candidates. Therefore English should be upper-intermediate level.

What You Will Be Doing
- SEO strategy to drive organic traffic and reach top search engine rankings.
- Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery, expansion and optimization.
- Research and implement content recommendations for SEO.
- Research and analyze the competitor advertising links.
- Develop and implement link building strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing and development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO rankings for target keywords.
- Understand where and how traffic is being driven to our site and how to deliver a seamless, conversion-driven experience on-site.
- Analyze and report on-site metrics, using insights to identify opportunities and chase them down.
- Analyzing data at an advanced level to identify the root cause of issues. Identifying backlink opportunities and performing necessary outreach.
- Help develop a set of SEO KPIs for consistent and comprehensive performance management across onsite and technical aspects.
- Establish a monitoring system for website redirects, canonical tags, and other technical, administrative, and error related issues that may prevent optimal performance.
Profile
- 5−10 years of experience in International SEO and Local SEO strategies.
- These roles are remote in Canada with the ability to work within EST/CST business hours.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO (sitemaps, crawl budget, canonicalization, Schema.org, etc.).
- Extensive web analytics tool experience like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, & Google Tag Manager.
- Experience working with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, and site speed performance.
- Proficient technical knowledge of eCommerce technologies.
- Essential web development experience HTML/CSS/SQL/Python/Javascript.
- Experience in quantifying marketing impact and SEO performance.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to dig extensively into metrics and analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to create easy-to-understand and easy-to-replicate reports.
