Reface is hiring QA Engineer, who will work with the Reface internal management web-system that is used for content production and also enables different experiments with ML mechanics

Workflow:

• the team itself is senior level but we prefer not to use titles inside at all. Here we talk about 2 FrontEnd Engineers, 3 Python Engineers, Designer, Product Manager and QA Engineer (it’s you)

• we use working processes. There are no scrum masters. The team decides how to work and what technologies to choose

• no micromanagement. We have no time or desire for this

• unlimited vacation time. We trust each other

• now we work remotely and smart, instead of 9 to 5

You:

• have 2+ years of experience in testing WEB-based applications

• have a good understanding of client-server architecture

• have solid exploratory testing skills and knowledge to apply the right level of testing for some specific features

• have strong E2E, UI, API testing background (REST): Postman, DevTools, Fiddler/Charles Proxy, Swagger

• have experience with microservices testing and tracing logs: Kibana, Grafana

• are familiar with Jira/TestRail (or other bug/test-case management systems)

Nice to have experience with Version Control System (GIT), DB (SQL, Postgres), API testing automation🤓. It’s not among must-haves, still, such knowledge will come in handy further

What will you do:

• integrate and maintain the up-to-date state test flow (decomposes features into test components for prioritization workload)

• design/maintain and execute test cases/checklists

• report defects and work with the team to resolve them

• provide defects root cause analysis

• actively collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements, especially in terms of testability, consistency, and completeness

• identify and provide solutions to optimize the current process to assure the right first-time on-time delivery

• participate proactively in backlog refinement, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies
