At FORMEL SKIN it is our vision to democratize and digitalize dermatology, with the goal of improving dermatological treatments & making them easily accessible.

FORMEL Skin offers medical and science-based solutions to effectively treat a broad set of dermatological conditions (e.g. acne, slow-aging). The treatment & products are customized according to the medical needs and skin conditions of our patients after continuous online check-ups with our dermatologists.

You will join our highly skilled international team of tech professionals, developing telemedical and business platforms to become a global leader in dermatological fields. You will join us at the most exciting moment, as we are rewriting our systems from scratch adhering to best engineering practices and using the latest technologies.

Your area of responsibility

• Development of backend (80%) and frontend (20%) applications
• Establishing development processes that ensure quality, security, scalability, maintainability and speed of development
• Actively contributing to overall system architecture, sharing ideas and proactively making improvements
• Interacting with stakeholders and being an integral part of a truly cross-functional team

Skills and requirements

• Proficiency in Node.js stack (TypeScript, JavaScript)
• Experience working with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational databases
• Profound skills in object oriented programming and design
• Experience developing API-first products (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience with modern frontend technologies (React)
• Big plus: proven experience developing event-driven systems
• Big plus: Fundamental knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS) and containerised deployments (Kubernetes)
• Big plus: previous experience working in a  early stage startup
• Good level of English knowledge (both written and spoken)
