We are a data-driven company, and we have lots and lots of data! Databases Team supports existing Microsoft databases used by different projects performing maintenance, backups, troubleshooting. Also, this squad is working on the migration of Microsoft databases and SSAS to Big Data technologies.

YOU ARE

A candidate with the following experience

• At least 3 years as a DBA / MS SQL Server Developer
• Deep and wide understanding of databases’ structure and architecture
• SQL Server Analysis Services
• Writing complicated T-SQL, stored procedures and functions
• Dealing with high availability environments
• Installing and configuring SQL servers
• Performance tuning
• Troubleshooting SQL Server databases
• Big databases, various analysis server cubes, multi-terabyte size
• Familiar with coding languages like Python or Java, so as scripting languages
• ETL Pipelines orchestration, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
• Migration projects
• Working on Linux/Mac environments
• MS Azure and AWS

And skills

• Motivated, team player with the ability to learn fast and great analysis skills
• At least Upper-Intermediate English level

YOU WANT TO WORK WITH

• Managing and tuning high-availability MS SQL DB and Analytics server
• Mitigating policies and procedures on data management, security, maintenance, and utilization
• Test database managing, backup, and recovery strategies, verifying data integrity
• Performing database installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations
• Proactively monitoring and tuning for performance, troubleshooting
• Creating and maintaining documentation and guides for troubleshooting database systems
