We are a successful, market-leading SaaS company with driven and skilled employees. We are a team you will want to work and develop with, while playing a key role in shaping the market for PIM/PXM, and digital transformation, so join us!

The main idea of the whole project is to develop a platform for product information management (PIM) and customize it for a lot of different customers. The platform enables better customer experiences for branded manufacturers, industrial manufacturers, and retailers to sell their products online across any channel or marketplace quickly and easily. It helps businesses to increase revenues, achieve customer satisfaction and brand equity for over 1,500 brands and 500 customers globally.

The main activities being performed for now are related to the development of platform enhancements and customizations for different customers, for instance provide the integrations with the different systems on the customer side or support some specific data formats. Also support and maintenance activities are provided for existing customers.

The development team is located in Sweden and includes 5 developers and 2 solution architects. Also there is a business analyst that is responsible for getting the requirements from different customers and presenting them to the development team. Daily communications inside the development team as well as direct communications with the customers are expected.

This is a long-term project since the number of customers that are using the platform is constantly growing.


Responsibilities:

Design separate components, modules, classes, database tables, etc.

Code, debug, document, and maintain portions of software

Perform unit and integration testing

Participate in peer code and design reviews

Participate in estimation and planning sessions

Contribute to the development of technical project documentation and user documentation

Provide assistance to test engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation

Participate in conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the Customer and Customer partners

Comply with the best engineering practices, the technical standards, and the quality criteria set forth on the project

Report status and progress according to the project and Company demands

Spot current deficiencies in the development process, adopted procedures and engineering practices, environment configurations, etc., and suggest improvements

Escalate technical issues to the Architect, Team Lead, and Project Manager

Improve your qualification within the area(s) of expertise at various training courses, seminars, and/or other educational events


Requirements:

At least 3 years of professional experience as a software engineer

Good understanding of object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods

Solid experience and deep understanding of the following technologies: C#, JS, SQL

Experienced in developing solutions based on existing platforms like PIM will be a plus

Ability to develop/work on a few different solutions in parallel (e.g. one PIM solution for one customer, and another PIM solution for another customer)

Talent to switch efficiently from development to support/maintenance tasks and vice versa

Ability to work independently without supervision (be a self-manageable person), keep direct communication (clarifications, planning, reporting), tracing progress to our customer

Ability to learn new projects quickly

Ability to investigate issues and experience in problem solving

At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
