Customer:

Our Customer is Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group), the Nordic region's leading entertainment provider. They entertain millions of people every day with streaming services, TV channels, and radio stations, and their production companies create exciting content for media companies around the world.

Project:

You will be a part of a team which is responsible for building and maintaining web portal consisting of separate modules and services. This portal enables customers to create and manage their accounts, select or change their packages and subscriptions, submit support requests, etc.

There are already a few versions of the web portal supported by our team for different locales. The first task would be to take ownership of the product and suggest strategy to extend its features and functionality to cover needs of the other regions and markets, integrate with other client's web services.

At the current stage we have implemented CI, Peer technical design reviews, Peer code reviews, Unit tests, all best practices.

Our general stack is JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, SQL and NoSQL databases. All of the applications are using AWS cloud ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Design separate components, modules, classes, database tables, etc.
• Perform coding and debugging
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Take part in estimation and planning sessions
• Analyze and clarify requirements
• Perform code and design reviews
• Participate in conference calls and meetings with the Customer

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in web development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript
• Good knowledge of Node.js
• Experience in Angular 2+
• Proficient knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Up-to-date knowledge of modern web standards, front-end performance patterns, scalability and accessibility
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate level of spoken and written English
