About the vacancy

DataArt's client is a large American financial institution located in New York that has more than $30 billion assets under management.

We’re expanding the team to help with the development of a new system for them. For now, the team consists of 20 people on the DataArt side (.NET developers, QA, BA, DevOps).

Participation in the project will allow you to develop professionally, as well as to learn many aspects of the modern financial market.

We hire people not to a project, but to the company. If the project (or your work in it) is over, you go to another project or to a paid “Idle”.

Must have

• 2+ year of hands-on SQL development experience as a Database Administrator
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, understanding tuning, configuration, and optimization
• Experience in implementing and maintaining backups, restores, integrity checks for SQL Server databases
• Experience in new instances set up and configurations, patching and upgrades
• Skills managing databases security and permissions
• Experience providing SQL Server instances and databases monitoring
• Skills in database performance tuning
• Experience using Continuous Integration systems (TeamCity, Gitlab CI)
• Experience working with SQL Server Management Studio
• Proactive with analytical mindset
• Ability to analyze, document, and manage requirements
• Spoken English

Would be a plus
