We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer, who will become a part of our talented 160+ person team and will develop and execute tests to ensure product quality

CITY: Cherkasy

We are looking for:

• 0.5+ years of work experience in software quality assurance
• Knowledge of testing web- and mobile apps, API services
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools
• Understanding of the project lifecycle and QA processes
• Knowledge in how to write QA documents (in English)
• Knowledge of working with different desktop OSs (Windows, Linux, macOS)
• Knowledge of working with different bug tracking systems (Redmine, JIRA)
• English at a Pre-intermediate level or higher (reading technical documentation, writing)
• Analytical mindset, ability to model and to work with abstractions
• Teamwork skills, strong interpersonal skills, accountability, self-discipline, systematic approach to work
• Great desire to develop QA skills and grow up professionally

We’d also love to see (not required though):

• Ability to develop and execute automated tests
• Experience in working with version control systems
• Knowledge of Basic UNIX
• Experience in work with databases
• Experience in VMware, Virtualbox

Responsibilities:

• Test the websites and mobile applications
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs using bug tracking systems
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test documentation
• Plan the QA process
• Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Liaise with project teams
• Create reports based on testing results
