POSITION OVERVIEW

The Java Engineer will join a project in an agile team based in Lublin and Wrocław. Among the main responsibilities are requirements analysis and development, maintenance of existing services, improvements in their resilience and monitoring, and application of the best IT practices as part of their daily routine.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production experience in Java
• Experience in the full Software Development life-cycle from requirements analysis to maintenance
• Solid knowledge of Spring
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with On-premises solutions/knowledge of Linux
• Proficiency in REST API design
• Experience in using Maven, Git, Gitlab
• A good understanding of software development principles like Clean Code and SOLID
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of English

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SRE principles and practices
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization
• Experience with monitoring and profiling systems (NewRelic or similar)
• Experience with Puppet, Terraform
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud AWS, Spring Cloud Netflix
• Experience with AWS services: SQS, SNS, Lambda, ECS, RDS, Kinesis
• Experience with NoSQL, OracleDB, Elasticsearch
