On behalf of Eagle Genomics, GT is looking for inspired Frontend Developers to join our research team responsible for programmatic efforts in the fields of microbiology, sustainable agriculture, food, personal care, and cosmetics, using the latest technologies to enable data-driven discovery.

We are looking for a person who:

• Has 5+ of experience.
• Strong understanding of product life cycle, agile methodologies, and prototyping test and learn approaches.
• Good generalist technology background with wide experience in software engineering.
• Developer with chops, ability to work in multiple environments and to get things done!
• Comfortable producing rapid prototypes in a sandbox environment.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Build software prototypes working in partnership with team members and stakeholders.
• Regular dialogue and feedback with team members and leadership to understand when a particular experiment or innovation can proceed to the next stage or to cancel and restart if the outcome is not as expected.
• You will be engaged in a full product life-cycle.

Must-have Skills:

• Expertise in relevant prototyping languages - Angular, etc.
• Expertise in front-end technology suites including React. JS Web framework etc.
• Ability to climb the learning curve fast, able to rapidly adapt and adopt new concepts, languages, etc.
• Curiosity and a learning mindset.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).

Good-to-have Skills:

• High-level experience of cloud architectures.
• Experience in developing early-stage prototypes.
• Experience in relevant business verticals, life science, agriscience, genomics, biotech, or similar.

How will you work?

You will work directly with a client through our Extended Team model. We try to do things differently and put our efforts to integrate you as deeply as possible into the client's team. You work with the same tools and technologies as they do and communicate directly with a client without any intermediary in between. We help you build relationships and create an environment where you genuinely feel like a member of the core product team. Our clients usually come for a week each month and spend a lot of time with the team in Kyiv (after the pandemic). We also encourage trips to a client and joint teambuilding and after-work activities. Our Extended Team model is focused on long-term projects that last over several years.
