One of our founders had previously co-founded a highly successful Eastern European neobank with a multi million customer base.

We have recently launched our first market with Leobank in Azerbaijan, which has gained great momentum. The next markets on our list are Nigeria and Vietnam. Another 7 markets across Africa and Asia are coming soon.

We are looking to scale our team to support the growth plan.

Your role

You are an experienced finance manager, who will help to build (from scratch) our finance function, financial modeling, budgeting and reporting processes in line with the needs of top VCs.

Responsibilities

• Project-manage new partnership leads: develop a business plan and a financial model for a particular market jointly with the local partner bank, run due diligence process, cooperate with legal to develop an optimal legal setup
• Develop budgeting, management / KPI reporting for the existing partnerships, provide insightful information and analysis to the founders and external investors
• Support initiatives for the the existing partnerships from financial standpoint (financial projections and analysis of initiatives, review and approve cost budgets etc.)
• As we grow, you will build all these processes from scratch and set up efficient processes for Fintech Farm.

Your experience

• Experience in consumer banking
• Experience in financial modelling and analysis
• Sound of accounting policies, financial statements and regulatory ratios in a banking environment
• Preferably 3+ years of experience at an investment bank, global management consultancy or M&A advisory at Big-4
• Preferably experience in a start-up / fast-paced environment
• Preferably experience in a FP&A function
• Fluent in English and Russian / Ukrainian

You will report directly head of finance and work closely with co-founders who are London-based. Our operating team (business leads, developers) are largely based in Ukraine, our partner banks are overseas and so you will be a vital bridge between these worlds. You could work remotely.
