Project Description

The team continues to have a variety of business initiatives, as well as foundational technology initiatives that the Data & BI team is focused on:

• Personalization;
• Digital Analytics;
• Member Engagement;
• Data & BI Platform foundational (Stability, Utilization);
• Data Governance, including Data Quality;

As part of the Data Engineering group

Perform ELT development using Azure Synapse/SQL (TSQL coding) and Informatica.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of recent hands-on experience in Web Application Development;
• 5+ years of object-oriented software development experience;
• Solid Web UI development knowledge of and experience in using modern client-side JavaScript frameworks for SPA style approaches (AngularJS, Durendal, Backbone, KnockoutJS) as well as development knowledge of HTML5, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, JSON, Web Services, REST, authentication/security, etc.;
• Experience with a test automation framework, unit testing frameworks and TDD;
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, creating data models and writing TransactSQL;
• Some experience with code repositories (TFS, SVN, or Git) and their accompanying tools/integration;
• Good understanding of Agile development frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban, code reviews;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are a must;

Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience

• User Experience Design;
• Mobile application development is a plus (native iOS, native Android, native Windows, HTML for mobile);
• Experience using JIRA is a plus;
