BDO in Ukraine in cooperation with BDO Canada and its software services company are looking for a Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, Public Cloud Operations to join our growing team, with the ability to work remotely.  

Data-driven professional software services company in Canada helps clients in telecommunications, transportation, finance, energy, mining, public sector and more, leverage modern technology solutions with AI, Data, Cloud, AppDev to provide actionable, data-driven results. 

The individual will own the following key accountabilities and responsibilities: 

• Design and build highly scalable, secure, and highly available architectures  
• Promote automation and infrastructure best practices 
• Contribute to a team of like-minded platform engineers building platforms in Azure, AWS and GCP public clouds 
• Fearlessly face challenging technical problems, use your superpowers to solve them, and help your peers by sharing your unique solutions  
• You will minimize risk of reliability related failure outcomes as pertaining to durability, availability, performance, and correctness 
• Write code and scripts to automate infrastructure and other common workflows 
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide application support, incident management, and troubleshooting 

Your experience and education 

Must have: 

• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure Automation and Infrastructure as Code 
• Proficiency with any public cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) services and infrastructure (2-3 years of experience). 
• 3+ years of experience working with one or more of: Python, Java, GO, Ruby  
• A passion for and 2+ years of experience of making developers more efficient through DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code 
• English level upper-intermediate and above
• Ukrainian level fluent  

Nice-to-have: 

• Experience in Kubernetes (Building Operators and managing production workloads)  
• Knowledge of SRE principles 
• An aptitude for learning and solutions design
